Police are investigating after a woman was killed during a severe weather event in the Lockyer Valley area this evening, November 10
Emergency services were called to the Qually Road property in Lockyer Waters just before 6pm following reports a woman had been struck by a tree.
Upon arrival, the 62-year-old woman was located with life-threatening injuries.
She was declared deceased a short time later.
Initial information indicates the woman was walking outdoors when the incident occurred.
This is an emerging situation and investigations are ongoing.
Police will prepare a report for the coroner.
