A 61-year-old Bongaree man died after his motorcycle collided with the rear of a truck at Ningi this morning.
Preliminary information indicates both vehicles were travelling westbound on Bribie Island Road at around 11.20am when the collision occurred near the intersection with Browns Road.
The rider was pronounced deceased at the scene. The 41-year-old male truck driver was not physically injured.
Investigations by the Forensic Crash Unit are continuing.
