A man has died following a single-vehicle traffic crash at Charleville yesterday, May 5.
Initial investigations indicate around 9:30am, a 2008 Mitsubishi Triton was travelling along Elliot Street before it left the road and struck a fence.
The vehicle continued onto Ridge Street before coming to a stop on the side of the road.
A 62-year-old Charleville man, the driver and single occupant of the vehicle, was declared deceased at the scene.
The Forensic Crash Unit is investigating the incident and appeal to anyone who may have seen the vehicle or have CCTV / dashcam vision of the area around the time of the incident to come forward.
