Forensic Crash Unit officers are investigating a single vehicle crash near Goondiwindi overnight.
At 11.35pm a Holden Commodore Ute was travelling west on the Barwon Highway near the intersection of Goodar Road. The vehicle has lost control and hit a tree before been engulfed in fire.
A Goondiwindi man in his twenties was the sole occupant and died at the scene.
Investigations are continuing.
