Two people have died in a two-vehicle-crash near Rolleston this morning.
At 7am, emergency services were called to the scene on the Carnarvon Highway, approximately 30 kilometres south of Rolleston.
On arrival, police found a semi-trailer and a car towing a caravan had collided, resulting in the car catching alight.
The driver of the truck sustained an injury to his arm during the incident.
The two occupants of the car were pronounced deceased at the scene.
The Forensic Crash Unit is investigating the circumstances surrounding the crash.
One lane of the highway is open however traffic disruptions are expected to continue throughout the day.
