Police are investigating following a fatal traffic crash involving a motorbike at Tallegalla, west of Ipswich this afternoon.
Preliminary information suggests a head-on collision occurred between the motorbike and a ute on Rosewood Marburg Road around 4.15pm.
The motorbike rider, a 50-year-old Pine Mountain man, sustained critical injuries and was pronounced deceased at the scene.
The 62-year-old male driver of the ute was not seriously injured.
The Forensic Crash Unit is investigating.
