Police Search Continues For Missing Man Troy

Police are continuing their search for missing Warrnambool man Troy and are appealing for people who may have dashcam vision or CCTV in three specific areas to come forward.

Troy, 44, left Adriana Crescent, Warrnambool, about 3am on Saturday 5 October and has not been heard from since.

Troy left in his vehicle, a black Mitsubishi Triton, with a standard nudge bar on the front, registration WDO032, which is believed to have been captured on CCTV in Dunkeld at 4.30am the same morning.

Police and family are concerned about Troy due to a medical condition and his disappearance being out of character.

Officers have searched different areas, spoken to Troy’s friends and family and exhausted other avenues of enquiry, however Troy remains missing.

As part of the ongoing search for Troy, investigators have narrowed down three specific areas and request drivers, residents or business owners check any dashcam or CCTV they may have in those areas between the specific dates and times provided, for Troy and, or his vehicle.

The areas are –

• The Glenelg Highway between the intersection of Templeton Street, Dunkeld and the township of Glenthompson between the hours of 0400 and 0800 on 5 October;

• The Victoria Valley Road between the intersection of Glenelg Highway, Dunkeld and the township of Victoria Valley between the hours of 0400 and 0800 on 5 October;

• The Pomonal township between Saturday 5 and Monday 7 October.

He is described as Caucasian in appearance, approximately 185cm tall, of medium build, with short, cropped brown/grey hair and goatee beard.

Investigators have re-released images of Troy and his Mitsubishi in the hope that someone may have information about his whereabouts.
