Investigators from the Manningham Crime Investigation Unit are appealing for public assistance to identify a burglar following a break-in at a residential address in Doncaster.
Detectives believe the unknown male offender gained entry into the Larnoo Drive address about 12.15pm on 15 January.
The burglar stole a number of items including jewellery and tablets from the premises.
When the offender left the address he was confronted by a neighbour who tried to take a photo of him.
The burglar has then pushed the neighbour and stolen her mobile phone.
The male was perceived to be of Middle Eastern appearance and aged in his 20s.
He was wearing a white singlet and carrying a black sports bag.
The offender then left in a blue BMW believed to be a 2000-2005 model.
Investigators have released face image of a man they believe can assist with their enquiries.
