Police are appealing for urgent public assistance to locate a woman reported missing this morning on the Gold Coast.
At 11am police received a call from a man who advised he was walking near Gorge Falls in the Tallebudgera Valley when he lost sight of 26-year-old Yang Chen (pictured).
It is not known whether Yang has become lost, has walked out onto Tallebudgera Creek Road or Springbrook Road or fell, as there are a number of creeks impacted by recent rain.
Police are coordinating a search of the area and are urging anyone who may have seen Yang to contact them immediately
Ms Chen is described as Chinese with a slim build, black hair and brown eyes.
