Police have released CCTV vision and are appealing for public assistance after a man was assaulted in Sydney’s CBD overnight.
About 12.40am (Friday 24 March 2023) officers attached to Sydney City Police Area Command attended a convenience store on Liverpool Street, Sydney, after reports of an assault.
A 31-year-old man was sound suffering facial bruising and swelling after being assaulted by three people. He was treated by NSW Ambulance paramedics and taken to hospital.
A crime scene was established, and police commenced inquiries into the circumstance surrounding the incident.
As inquiries continue, police would like to speak with three men who may be able to assist with the investigation.
The first man depicted is described as being of Aboriginal/Torres Strait Islander appearance, aged in his early 20’s with short dark hair.
He is shown wearing a dark coloured Nike t-shirt, dark pants and black shoes.
The second man is described as being of Aboriginal/Torres Strait Islander appearance, aged in his early 20’s, with short hair and a ponytail.
He is shown wearing a white shirt and dark shorts.
The third man is described as being of Caucasian appearance, in his early 20’s with blonde hair.
He is shown wearing a blue puffy jacket and dark pants.
