Police are appealing for information after a man sexually touched three women on trains on the main South Line between Yennora and Fairfield yesterday.
In the first incident, about 10.50am (Saturday 19 December 2020), two women aged 20 and 21 were seated in a carriage as the train neared Yennora Railway Station, when they were approached by a man who sexually touched them.
Both women managed to get away from the man and reported the matter to police.
In a second incident, about 4.00pm the same day, a 19-year-old woman was seated in a carriage on a train near Yennora Railway Station when she was approached by a man who sexually touched her.
She moved away to an adjoining carriage and reported the incident to police.
Officers from Fairfield City Police Area Command have commenced an investigation and as inquiries continue, police believe the two incidents are linked.
The man is described as being of Middle Eastern appearance, aged 30-40, with long frizzy hair, wearing a black hoody with white writing on the front, black tracksuit pants and white sneakers.
