Police are appealing for information following a stabbing in Sydney’s west.
About 7.45pm on Sunday 21 July 2024, emergency services were called to a function centre on The Boulevarde at Fairfield Heights, following reports of an assault.
Officers from Fairfield City Police Area Command attended and located a 45 year-old man who had been stabbed in the shoulder and back.
He was treated at the scene by Ambulance Paramedics before being taken to hospital for further treatment. His condition is described as critical but stable.
Police established a crime scene and commenced an investigation into the incident.
