Northern Territory Police are investigating after an assault in Katherine overnight.
At 9:45pm, police received a report of a large disturbance on Hudspeth Place, Katherine East. Upon arrival, police located a female victim with a suspected broken arm and a male victim with a serious laceration to his arm.
Police and St John Ambulance provided first aid and the injured male was conveyed to Katherine Base Hospital in a critical condition.
Detective Senior Sergeant Paul Lawson said “Investigations remain ongoing and police are urging anyone with information to make contact on 131 444.”
