Police seek information over home invasion at Queanbeyan

Police are appealing for public assistance after three people were threatened during a home invasion at Queanbeyan yesterday.

About 3:45am yesterday (Wednesday 10 January 2024), the occupants of a home on Meredith Street, Queanbeyan, were woken when two men forced their way inside.

Police have been told the men pointed firearms at a woman, aged 23, and a man, aged 51, before reportedly threatening a 71-year-old man with a flammable liquid.

They left a few minutes later, taking a 2013-model grey Holden Trax station wagon (NSW registration BX20JE), a mobile phone and an e-bike.

Officers from Monaro Police District attended the property about 4:15am and established a crime scene.
