Police are appealing for information to assist investigations into a three-vehicle collision in Wavell Heights this morning, September 25.
Initial information indicates a turquoise 2023 Volkswagen T-Cross collided with an unoccupied white 2024 Hyundai Tucson parked on Rode Road around 4.30am.
The impact of the collision resulted in the Hyundai hitting another unoccupied parked car.
A 31-year-old Caboolture man, who was a passenger in the Volkswagen, was taken to hospital with life-threatening injuries.
The Volkswagen’s two other occupants, a 27-year-old Sheehan woman and 36-year-old Burpengary man sustained non-life-threatening injuries and are assisting police with their investigations.
Investigations are ongoing to determine the circumstances surrounding the crash.
Officers are particularly interested in speaking to any motorists parked along Rode Road whose vehicle may have been damaged prior to this collision.
Anyone travelling along that road at the time, especially if you have dashcam vision of the crash, is urged to contact police.
