Northern Territory Police are calling for witnesses in relation to a tour bus which rolled and killed one passenger and injured several others in Central Australia on Monday, to contact them.
Police, Fire and emergency services worked throughout the night to rescue and treat passengers from a tour bus after it rolled 5km east of Hermannsburg on Monday afternoon.
Officers from the Major Crash Investigation Unit are now seeking witnesses who saw the tour bus in the area of Hermannsburg prior to the crash.
“Investigations into the circumstances surrounding the cause of the crash are ongoing,” said Constable First Class Jeremy Cross of the NT Police Major Crash Investigation Unit.
“As part of a comprehensive investigation, we’d like to speak with anyone who witnessed the tour bus in the area of Hermannsburg on the afternoons of Sunday (5 June) or Monday (6 June) before the fatal crash.”
