Police have charged a 55-year-old Hamilton woman following an alleged fatal stabbing in Hamilton this morning.
It will be alleged the 55-year-old woman entered a unit on Oxford Street around 8.45am this morning and stabbed the 43-year-old resident.
It will be alleged the two women were known to each other but not in a familial setting.
The 43-year-old Hamilton woman passed away from her injuries.
The 55-year-old Hamilton woman has been charged with one count each of murder and enter with intent.
She is due to appear before Brisbane Magistrates Court tomorrow, December 22.
