Police are appealing for witnesses after five people were seriously injured during a two-vehicle traffic crash at Forest Lake on Saturday night, June 8.
Emergency services were called to Forest Lake Boulevard at approximately 10.10pm following reports a Mercedes-Benz had collided with a Toyota Landcruiser station wagon at the intersection near Renoir Crescent.
Upon arrival, five people were located with serious injuries.
The Mercedes driver, a 28-year-old South Brisbane man, and his three passengers, a 22-year-old Doolandella man, a 22-year-old Forest Lake man and a 20-year-old Redbank woman, were all transported to hospital.
The other driver, a 52-year-old Forest Lake woman, was also taken to hospital with serious injuries.
Anyone who witnessed the crash is urged to immediately contact police.
Motorists, particularly anyone with dashcam footage of the white 2019 Mercedes-Benz CLA45 AMG coupe with Queensland registration DPN168 prior to the crash, is urged to come forward.
Residents within Forest Lake and surrounding areas are also urged to review their CCTV for any relevant vision of the Mercedes from Saturday night.
The Forensic Crash Unit is investigating.
