Two men have been charged in relation to a ram raid in Charters Towers last Thursday in which a motorbike was stolen.
It will be alleged, around 1.10am on May 9, a person on a quad bike rammed the front door of a Mary Street business. A second person entered the store and stole a 2018 Yamaha YZ450 motorbike.
An 18-year old man and a 22-year-old man, both from Charters Towers, have been charged with entering a premises to commit an indictable offence, unlawful use of a motor vehicle, wilful damage, stealing and two counts of evading police.
Both men will appear in Charters Towers Magistrates Court on June 3.
