A woman has been charged following a fatal traffic incident at Beaconsfield in Mackay yesterday morning.
A 15-year-old Beaconsfield girl was on Nicklin Drive when she was struck by a vehicle around 3.20am and died at the scene.
A 29-year-old Mackay woman has been charged with failing to remain at the incident and render assistance.
She is due to appear in Mackay Magistrates Court on April 29.
The investigation is ongoing.
