Police have revoked an emergency declaration following yesterday’s serious crash on the M1 Motorway at Helensvale.

The revocation was made at 3.15am this morning following the full re-opening of the motorway.

Initial investigations into the crash suggest a white Holden Rodeo ute attempted to re-enter a lane in front of a truck.

The ute has clipped the truck causing it to spin and roll into another car, a red Ford Falcon.

Police are appealing for anyone with information or dashcam footage to come forward.

Investigations are continuing.
