Police have charged a man after he allegedly fled police custody in Rockhampton on July 27 and was taken into custody in Gladstone on August 3.
A 26-year-old man has been charged with one count each of escape lawful custody, unlawful use of motor vehicle, stealing, stealing of a vehicle, serious assault police officer, unlawful entry of vehicle for committing indictable offence used/threatened violence and dangerous operation of a vehicle and adversely affected by an intoxicating substance.
The man was also charged with two counts of evasion.
He will appear in Rockhampton Magistrates Court on August 19.
