Police have charged a 26-year-old Gulliver man with murder following the death of a 21-year-old Vincent man at Woodstock in December last year.
Around 8.45am on Saturday December 14, a passer-by found the 21-year-old man’s body on the backseat of his vehicle on Webb Road.
Following investigations by the Townsville Criminal Investigation Branch and the Homicide Investigation Unit, the Gulliver man was charged with murder on February 11.
Police will allege the man is known to the deceased man.
He appeared in Townsville Magistrates Court on February 11 and has been remanded in custody, until his next appearance in Townsville Magistrates Court on June 13.
Police continue to appeal for anyone with information to come forward.
