Police have made further arrests as part of investigations into rioting offences in Aurukun on New Year’s Day.
During the incidents, six houses were set on fire and two other houses were extensively damaged.
Investigators have now charged a total of 29 people with 120 offences.
Those arrested are due to appear in the Aurukun and Cairns Magistrates Courts and Cairns Children Court on a range of dates between January and April 2020.
Police continue to work closely with community leaders and Elders in Aurukun along with government and non-government agencies to improve safety and security.
