Northern Territory Police have now charged a man in relation to a kidnapping incident in Daly Waters overnight.
Detectives have now charged the 26-year-old with:
- 3 x Aggravated assault (weapon)
- 1 x Kidnapping
- 1 x Recklessly endangering life
- 1 x Deprive a person of liberty
- 2 x Possess firearm without licence
- 1 x Alter firearm.
- 1 x Armed with offensive weapon
- 1 x Discharge firearm
He has been remanded to appear in Darwin Local Court on Monday 25 November 2024.
Detectives are urging the driver and passengers of a dark coloured 4WD (pictured below) to make contact with police as detectives believe they may have witnessed the offender during the incidents.
Police would like to thank the members of the public who have already come forward.
