Police are seeking urgent public assistance to help locate Warren Bartley (pictured) who has been missing from Carrara since December 17.
Warren was last sighted at 7.50pm on December 17 sitting in a park along The Linkway at Nerang.
A search and rescue operation has resumed for the second day to locate the missing 84-year-old man.
He is described as Caucasian, approximately 165cm tall with grey hair, and last seen wearing a white t-shirt and black board shorts. Also wearing Adidas striped slides foot ware.
Family and police have concerns about his welfare as he has now been missing for three days and has a medical condition that causes confusion.
Residents in Carrara, Broadbeach, Broadbeach Waters, Mermaid Water, Varsity Lakes, Robina, Southport, Ashmore, Nerang are urged to check their properties and any structures for signs of Warren in case he has become disoriented.
Police request that if anyone locates items of clothing matching the above description to contact Policelink urgently.
Anyone who has information about his whereabouts is urged to immediately contact police.
