Police have charged two teenage boys following a serious traffic crash in Garbutt overnight.
At 2.45am this morning, a stolen Mazda CX5 was headed north on Woolcock street when the car has left the road and hit a tree.
Two teenagers were located at the scene and three others located a short time later nearby.
All five people were transported to hospital, with two in a serious condition.
Three of the teenagers have now been released from hospital.
A 15-year-old Palm Island boy has been charged with two counts of dangerous operation of a motor vehicle causing grievous bodily harm, three counts of unlawful use of a motor vehicle, unlicenced driving, fail to provide a specimen of blood, five counts of enter dwelling and commit indictable offence and two counts of attempted enter dwelling with intent to commit indictable offence.
A 13-year-old Wulguru boy has been charged with two counts of unlawful use of a motor vehicle and one count each of unlicenced driving, driving without due care or attention, and wilful damage.
Both will appear in Townsville Childrens Court on February 3.
Investigations are continuing.
