Police have charged a 27-year-old Collingwood Park man following an alleged serious traffic crash in Pallara yesterday morning, June 10.
It will be alleged at approximately 3.20am, a stolen grey Toyota Hliux dual-cab utility was traveling north along Paradise Road when the vehicle left the road, rolled, and crashed into a metal fence.
Two occupants were located at the scene including a 24-year-old woman who was ejected from the vehicle.
She was transported to Princess Alexandra Hospital with life-threatening injuries.
The driver, a 27-year-old Collingwood Park man, has been charged with dangerous operation of a motor vehicle causing grievous bodily harm whilst adversely affected by an intoxicating substance whist excessively speeding.
He is due to appear at Brisbane Magistrates Court today, June 11.
Residents or any motorists travelling along Paradise Road and surrounding areas on Monday morning are urged to review CCTV or dashcam footage for any relevant vision of the Toyota Hilux.
Investigations by the Forensic Crash Unit are continuing.
