Detectives have confirmed the identity of the body located in Slacks Creek yesterday afternoon as missing 44-year-old woman, Simone Rothe.
A post-mortem examination was carried out today and her death is no longer being treated as suspicious.
Officers, with the assistance of the SES, conducted a systematic search of parklands in the Slacks Creek area in relation to an ongoing missing person investigation.
At around 1pm officers located the body in Timothy Park on Park Road.
A report is now being prepared for the Coroner.
