One new COVID-19 case has been recorded in the Northern Territory in the past 24-hours.
A male child who arrived on the repatriation flight from Islamabad, Pakistan, on 25 September 2021 has tested positive for COVID-19.
He is mildly symptomatic and is under the care of NT Health at the NT Centre for ³Ô¹ÏÍøÕ¾ Resilience.
Since repatriation flights to the Northern Territory began on 23 October 2020:
· 16,623 international arrivals have undertaken quarantine at the Howard Springs Centre for ³Ô¹ÏÍøÕ¾ Resilience.
· A total of 197 positive COVID-19 cases have been overseas-acquired, 146 of which have been reported from international repatriation.
