One new COVID-19 case has been recorded in the Northern Territory in the past 24 hours.
A 45-year-old female, who arrived on the repatriation flight from Istanbul on 2 October has tested positive for COVID-19.
She is asymptomatic and is under the care of the NT Health at the NT Centre for ³Ô¹ÏÍøÕ¾ Resilience.
Since repatriation flights to the Northern Territory began on 23 October 2020:
· 17,187 international arrivals have undertaken quarantine at the Howard Springs Centre for ³Ô¹ÏÍøÕ¾ Resilience.
· A total of 200 positive COVID-19 cases have been overseas-acquired, 148 of which have been reported from international repatriation.
· There are currently 7 active cases in the Northern Territory, which are in care at the Centre for ³Ô¹ÏÍøÕ¾ Resilience, posing no threat to the community.
