Eurobodalla residents and ratepayers can now cast their vote for the Eurobodalla Shire Council elections.
Pre-poll voting opened today, Monday 22 November, for the local government elections, which will be held across NSW on Saturday 4 December. Eurobodalla residents will vote for eight councillors and a Mayor.
In-person pre-poll voting is available at Batemans Bay’s Mackay Park function centre, Moruya’s Mechanics Institute and the Narooma Leisure Centre, from 9am-5pm, Monday-Saturday, until Friday 3 December.
If circumstances make it difficult to get to a voting centre on election day, electors can apply to submit a postal vote.
Online voting is also available for people who are blind or have low vision, are unable to vote without assistance, are a silent elector, live more than 20 kilometres from a polling place, applied for a postal vote but did not receive the ballot in time, or will not be within their council area on election day.
On Saturday 4 December 17 polling booths will operate throughout the shire from 8am to 6pm.
The polling locations will be open to all voters, regardless of their vaccination status, however all voters will need to wear a mask and check in using the Service NSW app.
