Crews are making the most of the sunshine to make more steady progress on the Sports Precinct site. (VIDEO)
With the main drainage pipes now in the ground, the next step is making sure the eight new sportsfields are sloped to the right level.
The new sportsfields are designed to have a 1% fall across the site, flat enough for sport, but enough slope to let the run-off from rain happen.
Crews use a laser levelling device.
The spinning leveller sends laser beams across the site.
A detection unit attached to the blade of the bulldozer knows exactly how deep to dig.
