The COVID-19 Novel Coronavirus is a new strain of coronavirus affecting humans which can cause severe illness.
Carinity, in looking after the health and wellbeing of our residents, students, staff and visitors, is asking visitors to not attend a Carinity site if they have travelled to/from or through any of the countries where the Australian Government have travel restrictions relating to COVID-19 (Novel Coronavirus).
Currently, for people returning after travel to/from or through China, Iran and South Korea, the Australian Border Force states that you must self-isolate for 14 days. In addition to the above, the Australian Government has stated that if you are returning from Italy you cannot attend work for 14 days.
All visitors, upon arrival at a Carinity site, will be asked to sign a Declaration Form in regard to any international travel over the previous 14 days. If they have been to/from or through any of the high-risk countries, then they will not be accepted at our facility.
