The Dream Collective program, set to promote and acknowledge the State’s leading tourism operators and experiences, was launched today at the 2024 Perth Airport WA Tourism Conference in Mandurah.
The program will showcase Western Australia’s leading tourism operators which consistently deliver high-quality visitor experiences, and was created by Tourism Western Australia in partnership with Tourism Council Western Australia.
Tourism Council WA CEO Evan Hall said The Dream Collective promoted tourism businesses which had reached the highest standards in sustainability, emissions reduction and accessibility, as well as those who achieve the pinnacle of success through the WA Tourism Awards.
“The Dream Collective rewards businesses for improving their product and operations, for example businesses with the best online reviews and those which have reached the highest standards of Sustainable Tourism Accreditation,” Mr Hall said.
Western Australian tourism operators which are selected for The Dream Collective program will receive priority in Tourism Western Australia’s marketing and placements on westernaustralia.com.
All Western Australian tourism operators can now apply for the program until July 12 at and will be assessed on criteria incorporating accreditation and training, website and online platforms, marketing and social media activity.
The achievement of high standards in Tourism Council WA’s Accessibility and Tourism Emissions Reduction programs, along with a tourism business’ ReviewPro score and the status of finalist or winner in the WA Tourism Awards will be taken into consideration in the evaluation process.
Each tourism operator that is evaluated in The Dream Collective program will receive tailored feedback on their application to improve the areas of the evaluation where the lowest scores were obtained.
To be considered for inclusion in The Dream Collective, tourism operators must meet the eligibility criteria and participate in an annual evaluation process across a set of criteria.
