Swan Hill Rural City Council is thrilled to announce progress on the Milloo Street Floating Pontoon Project.
Council’s Director Development and Planning, Michelle Grainger said as part of this exciting development, geotechnical works were set to commence on May 28.
“To ensure the safety of our community and facilitate these essential works, the Milloo Street Boat Ramp will be temporarily closed.
“Closure will commence from 5pm on Monday, May 27 and conclude at 5pm on Tuesday, May 28.
“This closure is necessary to facilitate the geotechnical operations required for the advancement of the Milloo Street Floating Pontoon Project.
“We kindly request the understanding and cooperation of all residents and visitors during this brief closure period,” she said.
Ms Grainger said the Milloo Street Floating Pontoon Project will become a significant enhancement to our local infrastructure, providing improved access and amenities for boating and water enthusiasts in our region.
“Thank you for your cooperation as we continue to enhance our community’s recreational offerings,” she added.
