Police are investigating several reports of projectiles discharged in Southern Tasmania over the past day.
At this stage police have received reports of what are believed to be ball bearings discharged towards one vehicle and six houses today, and two discharged yesterday.
No injuries have been sustained.
“Police wish to reassure the community that these discharges have not been from a firearm, however, understandably this is concerning to police and the community,” said Inspector Brett Berry.
“Our police investigations are following a specific line of enquiry in relation to these incidents.”
“If anyone has information or dash cam that would assist our investigation, I ask them to come forward.”
