The Property Council of Australia has today welcomed the appointment of Scott Langford as Housing Australia’s new CEO.
Property Council Group Executive Policy & Advocacy Matthew Kandelaars said Housing Australia will play an important role in Australia’s housing landscape over the next five years.
“Housing Australia plays a crucial role in facilitating home ownership opportunities and channeling investments to boost the supply of social and affordable housing, in addition to conducting valuable research,” Mr Kandelaars said.
“The next five years will be crucial for Housing Australia as it administers the Housing Australia Future Fund, Affordable Housing Bond Aggregator, ³Ô¹ÏÍøÕ¾ Housing Infrastructure Facility and the ³Ô¹ÏÍøÕ¾ Housing Accord Facility.
“We congratulate Scott Langford on his appointment as CEO of Housing Australia and look forward to working closely with him to assist in continuing the great work of Housing Australia.
“We also thank outgoing CEO Nathan Dal Bon on his stewardship of Housing Australia through a pivotal portion of the organisation’s history.
“Nathan’s leadership has been instrumental in transitioning the organisation and contributing significantly to the implementation of some of the most impactful national housing policies in decades,” he said.
