Queensland police have charged a man and a woman in relation to an alleged break and enter at a residence on Brisbane’s northside.
On Tuesday, July 16, police responded to a report of a security cameras alert showing a man walking down the side of a house at Hendra.
Upon arrival police located a woman out the front of the property.
Police observed a man running from the back of the property and followed him on foot to a nearby shopping centre complex where he was taken into custody a few minutes later.
A 40-year-old Brighton man has been charged with one count each of entering a dwelling and commit, possess thing intended for use in connection with offence under 419/421 of the Criminal Code prior conviction of crime relating to property, fail to take reasonable care and precautions in respect of syringe or needle, possess property suspected of having been acquired for the purpose of committing a drug offence and obstruct an officer.
He was refused bail and is expected to appear before the Brisbane Magistrates Court on August 19.
A 35-year-old Zillmere woman has been charged with one count each of enter dwelling and commit offence and trespass for a separate incident in Bracken Ridge on April 20.
She is expected to appear before the Brisbane Magistrates Court on August 19.
