Viewable on the , concept designs for six proposed new canoe and kayak launches along the trail have been developed in consultation with local tour operators and the paddling community. Two launch types, a stepped-style launch and a floating pontoon, have been designed to suit the changing river conditions along the length of the trail. Both feature tethering points for watercraft, a non-slip fibre-reinforced plastic top surface, and provide level water access at various river heights.
