Jane Morgan Management

Established in Tasmania in 2016, 13 Seeds started as family business with an emphasis on health and wellbeing, staying true to the values and philosophy of the founders – Terry Memory and Gemma Lynch-Memory. The company is now aiming to list on the ASX through an IPO for up to $6m, led by Sydney and Melbourne based broker and corporate advisory firm, PAC Partners.

The journey has been a personal one for Gemma and Terry, as the initial range of 13 Seeds Hemp Skin Care and 13 Seeds Pure Tasmanian Hemp Oil, were developed from their successful search for a healing agent for one of their six young children, who had developed chronic Psoriasis.

Since launching, 13 Seeds has grown to become one of Australia’s leading Hemp Food Company with national distribution of Australia’s largest range of Hemp Superfood Products and a reputation for quality, integrity and innovation. The brand has developed and sells a range of hemp-based food products including drinking chocolates, muesli, oils and honeys, in addition to a range of nutraceutical products.

With a highly reputable Board of Directors, the 13 Seeds team comprises of experienced FMCG executives, who have previously held senior roles at Sanofi Healthcare, Fonterra, PepsiCo, Diageo & Metcash in Australia, China and South East-Asia.

13 Seeds’ IPO is based on an $8m pre money valuation, with funds to be used to execute a growth strategy including expanding domestic distribution, growing online sales and new product development. The offer closes mid to late November, with 13 Seeds aiming to list on the Australian Securities Exchange by December 2019, and commence trading under the proposed code ASX:13S.
