Police have declared an emergency declaration under the Public Safety Preservation Act (PSPA) in Kallangur this evening, November 13, following reports of an armed person near a property along Sheehan Street.
An emergency declaration was declared just after 6.30pm and an exclusion zone has been established with boundaries encompassing Sheehan Street, Andrew Street, Kent Street, Boardman Street, Bond Street and Anzac Avenue.
Members of the public are advised to avoid the area and those within the exclusion zone are asked to remain indoors until further notice.
