Detectives investigating a complaint of grievous bodily harm and assault occasioning bodily harm at Broadbeach in late August, have released footage of three men who may be able to assist investigations.
Around 2am on Sunday August 28, an altercation broke out between two groups of people at the Broadbeach South light-rail station.
A 21-year-old Currumbin Waters man was repeatedly punched, sustaining facial injuries.
A 20-year-old Elanora man was punched and kicked to the ground, where he was knocked unconscious.
The group then fled.
Emergency services were notified and attended the scene.
The 21-year-old man attended hospital to receive treatment for facial injuries.
The 20-year-old man attended Robina Hospital where scans indicated he had a broken jaw on both sides, requiring surgery.
Police are urging the three men depicted in the footage to come forward. Detectives are also asking anyone who recognises the men, or has any information regarding the assaults, to come forward.
