³Ô¹ÏÍøÕ¾ Capital Plan Amendment to Support Theatre Renewal
The ³Ô¹ÏÍøÕ¾ Capital Authority (NCA) is seeking community views on a proposed amendment to the ³Ô¹ÏÍøÕ¾ Capital Plan to support the expansion and renewal of the Canberra Theatre by repositioning Knowles Place.
The proposed amendment will realign Knowles Place around the ACT Government’s proposed Canberra Theatre Centre Redevelopment Project site while maintaining the principles of permeability and accessibility enshrined in the ³Ô¹ÏÍøÕ¾ Capital Plan and the City Hill Precinct Code.
The amendment will comprise changes to a series of drawings showing the new position of Knowles Place. No changes to the written policies of the ³Ô¹ÏÍøÕ¾ Capital Plan are proposed.
