Residents are reminded of the public transport details for the Local Government pre-polling period at the Griffith Regional Sports Centre (GRSC). From Monday, 9 September to Friday, 13 September, voters will continue to have convenient access to the Griffith Regional Sports Centre for early voting.
Bus Routes 942 and 943 offer access to the GRSC, with both routes stopping directly at the main entrance on Merrowie Street. Timetables for Routes 942 and 943 are also provided to aid voters in coordinating their arrival times efficiently through visiting https://bit.ly/47hUqQW.
Pre-poll voting at the GRSC will be open on Monday 9, Tuesday 10, and Wednesday 11 September from 8:30am to 5:30pm; Thursday 12 September from 8:30am to 8:00pm; and on Friday 13 September from 8:30am to 6:00pm.
Early voting will also be available at the Griffith Aboriginal Community Centre, located at 5 Wiradjuri Place, Griffith, from Wednesday, 11 September to Friday, 13 September.
Griffith residents are reminded that the Local Government Election will be held on Saturday 14 September 2024, with voting compulsory for all eligible residents within the Local Government Area.
