The Queensland Police Service (QPS) has honoured 20 staff members who were promoted to the executive level.
The QPS employs thousands of staff members in administrative, support and specialist roles throughout the state.
These roles include training officers, business analysts, research and policy officers and many more.
Minister Mark Ryan and Commissioner Katarina Carroll were there to congratulate the staff members on their new appointments.
The new appointments are the culmination of years of dedicated work and excellence in their fields by the recipients.
Deb Paterson, who was promoted to Executive Director of the Human Resources Division, has worked for the QPS for 30 years and started as an administration officer.
Amanda Moran has also dedicated 30 years to the QPS and is now the Director for Policy and Performance.
The QPS is proud to acknowledge the commitment and diligence of its staff members, who work hard throughout the organisation to support front-line services.
