Officers from the Major Crash Investigation Section are investigating a fatal crash that occurred in Ravenswood yesterday afternoon, Thursday 30 December 2021.
Around 4:40pm, a Subaru XV station sedan and a Nissan Pathfinder were travelling along Paterson Road in Ravenswood when the two vehicles collided near the intersection of Rogers Road.
The driver of the Subaru, a 51-year-old man, died at the scene. The driver of the Nissan, a 53-year-old woman, received serious injuries and was airlifted to Royal Perth Hospital.
Major Crash investigators are conducting an examination of the scene and are appealing for anyone who saw the crash, or either vehicle travelling in the area prior to the crash, to call Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000 or report the information online at www.crimestopperswa.com.au.
