Quote from Superintendent of the Road Policing Command Mike Peters:
“It’s astounding that some people are still willing to risk their lives, and the safety of others, by driving recklessly on Western Australia roads.”
“Driving a high-performance vehicle doesn’t excuse you from any traffic laws. It’s not worth driving in a reckless manner at the risk of incurring a speeding infringement, or at worse, costing your life or the life of another person”.
Quote from Road Safety Commissioner Adrian Warner:
“Speed is the biggest killer on our roads. It’s simple physics, the faster you are going the more likely you are to crash, and if you do crash the faster you are going the more likely you are to be killed or seriously injured, or kill or seriously injure someone else”
