Bellerive CIB have recovered a large amount of stolen power tools, building equipment and toolboxes which had been taken from construction sites in the South of the State over the last few months.
Earlier this week two properties in Clarendon Vale and Austins Ferry were searched, and a 32-year-old man has been charged with multiple burglaries and possession of stolen property.
Police in Bellerive are encouraging tradespeople to lock up their worksites, equipment, toolboxes and vehicles when left unattended.
“I would encourage any tradesperson to please mark their power tools and work items with identifying features to assist police in identifying property and have it returned to its owner,” said Sargent Leah Adams.
