Residents with an interest in improving health and wellbeing in the northern Geelong growth area are encouraged to nominate for a place on a new community liaison reference group.
The City is establishing the reference group for the new $61.6 million (NACH).
on the jointly funded project, adjacent the Barwon Health North site in Norlane, began in late February.
The community liaison reference group will engage with community representatives
Councillor Anthony Aitken, of Windermere Ward, said the NACH was the largest ever community infrastructure investment project to be delivered by Council.
Given the size and importance of the facility to the community, the reference group is essential to ensure we tap into our local knowledge, skills and experience. This will be used to get feedback on ideas and issues, to help decide the best use of the space and to ensure its programming meets the needs of the local community.
